Join me at Whitmore Lake Preserve for the first forest walk of the season! This is a special place where marsh meets oak forest, attracting a variety of wildlife. Bring a blanket, a folding chair, whatever will make you comfortable. Theres a 5 minute walk from the parking lot into the preserve. There are no bathrooms at most preserves, so we will limit our time to about 1.5 hours in order to accomodate this. You are welcome to stay longer! In the event of inclement weather, thunderstorm, lightining, temps below 35 F or high winds, walks will be canceled.
